
Walks
Country walks around some iconic country parks in the area with lunch to follow in some equally lovely restaurants.
Short Walks
Taking place on the 2nd Thursday of each month, short walks are normally around 3 to 3.5 miles and finish with a pub lunch
Longer Walks
Taking place on the 1st Thursday of each month, longer walks are up to 8 miles and may be at a location within a one hour drive

Sutton Park
Covering more than 2,200 acres, Sutton Park in Royal Sutton Coldfield is a National Nature Reserve (NNR) and consists of a mix of heathland, wetlands and marshes, seven lakes and ancient woodlands

Brereton Country Park
Brereton Country Park has over 50 acres of mainly silver birch and oak woodland surrounding a 15 acre lake as well as areas of heathland, a wildflower meadow and wetland areas.

Sandwell Valley
Originally given to the monks of Sandwell Priory, Sandwell Valley has remained almost intact as one estate since the middle ages. Historical features still exist on the many trails and the valley is home to four local nature reserves

Chasewater
With a 90 hectare reservoir and plenty of green open space, Chasewater is an ideal venue for nature trails, bird watching, walking, cycling and picnics.
